Lake Maggiore
 Culture, nature and tranquility are the setting for our 12-hour excursion to picturesque Lake Maggiore, Italy's second largest natural body of fresh water, and its surrounding towns and villages.
Lake towns and Isola Bella: Our first stop will be the city of Arona, where you will be able to admire the 25-meter high statue of St. Charles Barromeo, the head of a noble family who built sumptuous palaces, prestigious gardens and the Angera stronghold.
Our excursion will continue along to the town of Stresa, the so-called "pearl of Lake Maggiore". Stresa is an important center of gastronomy and hospitality and whose tiny port allows you to take a boat to Isola Bella, the tiny lake island where you can visit the Borromeo family's famous noble mansion and gardens. The family home is now used as an elegant art gallery.
Enjoy exploring the rest of the island and its manicured gardens with spectacular lake panoramas.
Once returning to Stresa from Isola Bella, you will enjoy the rest of the afternoon having a romantic stroll along the lake's boardwalk and the town's parks while admiring aristocratic villas.
