Arezzo Wine Route
The medieval city of Arezzo, surrounded by lush vineyards and olive groves, is one Italy's richest in terms of history, culture not to mention traditionally high-quality agricultural products.
Along this wine route, extending over 200 kms vine-packed valleys and flatland, produces several prestigious Tuscan wines such as Chianti Colli Aretini, Colli d'Etruria Centrale, Valdichiana, Cortona, Vinsanto del Chianti and Vinsanto del Chianti dei Colli Aretini.
Our itinerary cuts through classical Tuscan landscape lined with medieval castles and borgos along rolling green hills. The vineyards near Arezzo are lush and terraced along hillside slopes, often adjacent to olive groves rooted there for hundreds of years.
Nearby Valdambra is charming, meriting a visits to its medieval abbeys and town center.
Our wine route then cuts along the Valdichiana valley, where your driver will stop to let you take in the breathtaking views of natural beauty and ancient home to prehistoric Etruscan tribes. There could be no better point to open a bottle of wine and toast to the awe-inspiring Tuscan countryside.
