Conegliano & Valdobbiadene Hills Wine Route
Between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene one finds a natural "amphitheater" carved into the hillside.
This region, blessed by a particularly warm and sunny microclimate, is a valley carved out by ancient glacier through which Dolomite mountain waters now run.
Our wine route cuts through this natural spectacle, on whose center-stage stands the world famous Italian "Prosecco" or sparkling white wine.
Along this route of rare natural beauty you will enjoy viewing characteristic farms and country homes while tasting two sparking wines: Prosecco di Valdobbiadene and Prosecco Superiore di Cartizze -both produced in abundant quantities thanks to the fertile land and time-proven techniques of the local winemakers.
Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto, Valdobbiadene, Asolo and Miane are the main towns that line the route. Each is charming in its own way. Conegliano is considered the historic capital of prosecco wines, while Valdobbiadene produces the area's finest sparkling wine vintages.
