PRIVATE SERVICE
Confirmation service:
You can book the service just sending us an e-mail at info@colosseumtravel.com, or filling in the reservation form that you can find on our web site with all your service details:
name, date, passengers number, pickup time, pickup location, flight number, drop off location, pieces of luggage, etc.
Credit card details are not required to guarantee the reservation
Payment:
Payment will be requested upon receipt booking details by sending you the secure worldline company link .
It will be enough to follow the easy instructions and proceed to the payment
No service is guaranteed without receiving payment within the established terms
Airport transfer service:
When you use our airport service, you will be meet at your exit gate by one of our expert drivers immediately outside the baggage area (inside the flight arrival terminal) with your name visibly posted on a large placard. He will then assist you and you baggage to your privately reserved vehicle.
On the city you will meet the driver in front at the Hotel concierge’s desk or at the your apartment’s exit
If for any reason you DO NOT meet the driver PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE AREA until you’ve met him.

Your flight will be monitored by our office in order to find our driver waiting for you at your arrival.
Any surcharge will be apply in case of deleted flight. Please contact us ASAP by phone or e-mail if for any reason you are not arriving on the flight you booked or you are arriving on a different flight.
In case you are on a different flight than schedule or it’s more than 90 minutes late you must place a new booking if you want to reschedule the transfer and the previous order will be non-refundable.
In case of group arriving with different flights our driver will be at the airport as per the flight that arrives at last.
Leaving your pick up location without advising by calling our office numbers to help locate your driver will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
A surcharge will be applied of the delay in meeting our drivers (for example loss of buggage, delays at the customes etc.) as described below (pick up time rules)
Dock transfer service:
When you use our dock service, you will be meet at your ship exit by one of our expert drivers immediately outside the ship exit with your name visibly posted on a large placard. He will then assist you and you baggage to your privately reserved vehicle. If for any reason you DO NOT meet the driver at the exit PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE AREA until you’ve met him.
Please also take note of our phone numebr +39 06 5730 5406 (worldwide). Should there be any sort of dock inconvenience or for information or immediate service while you are in Italy, please phone us.
Pick up time:
Our rates for Airport “Meet & Greet service” includes a 60 minutes waiting time after the flight has officially landed and parking fees. An extra cost of 60.00 € (payable in cash directly to the driver) per hour will be charged per hour for waiting time.
60 minutes of waiting, without receiving information from passengers, our driver will be free to leave the airport and will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
In case of flight delays within 60/90 minutes of the expected arrival time, the transfer will be rescheduled with the first vehicle available and passengers will have to wait for the driver’s arrival.
Leaving your pick up location without waiting our driver will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
In case of flight delays over 90 minutes from the expected arrival time, the passengers must place a new booking if they want to reschedule their transfer and the previous order will be non-refundable
Our rates for Dock “Meet & Greet service” includes a 15 minutes waiting time after the scheduled pick up time. An extra cost of 60.00 € (euro) per hour will be charged for waiting time.
15 minutes of waiting, without receiving information from passengers, our driver will be free to leave the port and will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
If we have arranged for a ride to the airport or any other destination and you keep our chauffeur waiting more than 15 minutes, without inform him or our staff of the delay, our driver will be free to leave the scheduled pick up area and will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged
LUGGAGE:
Our company and their chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service to passengers that have excess luggage which could result in the vehicle being unsafe. In this case will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged. Please be sure to book the appropriate vehicle if you have extra luggage (for example requesting a van instead of a sedan)
English speaking Driver:
We inform our clients that in order to ensure top quality service, our drivers are trained to give informative explanations of the local areas you visit .
Yet strict Italian tourist board regulations prohibit chauffeurs from commenting excessively at official tourist sites outside their vehicles. This is agreement with labour union agreements struck with licensed walking tour guides. They can, of course, speak to you from inside the vehicle anywhere organized tourism is in place.
Extra service:
Rates may change ONLY if the passengers requests the chauffeur to wait or do extra stops or pick-ups.
We inform our clients that our private tours length is approximate, in case of the car disposal lasts more than the estimated time, extra hours additional costs will be charged (rates indicated on service confirmation form)
Our fleet:
During maintenance and particular heavy travel periods our company reserves the right to use similar luxury sedans, limousines and vans as temporary replacements for those described above.
Service cancellations/modifications: (unless specified in the service description)
100% charge of the fare in case of NO SHOW or cancellation 7 days prior to the hour of the service.
No charge 8 days before or in case of flight cancellation due to the flight company or in case the ship doesn’t arrive
Rates does not include: (unless specified on our service description)
Client’s meals , food and beverage, gratuities (gratuities are at the clients discretion)
Entrance fees to museums and monuments unless otherwise noted on the programs.
Transportation :
Transportation is furnished by licensed insured professional drivers and vehicles only, who are qualified to perform public transportation services all over Europe.
Responsibility :
Our company does not accept responsibility for any accident regarding theft or damages during the course of our tours.
Surcharge for night service:
Service before 7am and after 8pm add. 20%

From Rome downtown to Fco Airport between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. shuttle leaving each 30 minutes
***PLEASE NOTE***:
1) multiple pick ups or drop offs for the same party are not possible on Shared Shuttle transfers
2) multiple flight arrivals for the same party are not possible on Shared Shuttle transfers
3) Shared Shuttle transfer service does not operate on the following holidays: December 25th and 26th December, January 1st and Easter Sunday
4) animal transport of any kind or size are not allowed on shared shuttle transfer
5) you have requested a SHUTTLE/SHARED service so you can divide the cost of it ONLY with the people within your party and NOT with other people using this service who are already in the shuttle!
SHARED DOCK TRANSFER:
When you use our shuttle dock transfer, you will be meet by one of our expert assistants or drivers immediately outside the ship exit with your name visibly posted on a large placard. On the city you will meet the driver in front at the Hotel concierge’s desk or at the your apartment’s exit. If for any reason you DO NOT meet our assistant/driver at the scheduled pick up location PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THIS AREA until you’ve met them. from the dock departures to the FCO airport at 7.00am/8.00am/9.30am
from the dock departures to the Rome city at 8.00am and 9.30am
from Rome city center departures at 10.30am/11.30am/12.30pm
from Fco downtown departures at 11.30am/12.30pm/1.30pm
from FCO Airport departures at 10.00am/12.00pm/2.00pm
***PLEASE NOTE***:
1) multiple pick ups or drop offs for the same party are not possible on Shared Shuttle transfers
2) multiple flight arrivals for the same party are not possible on Shared Shuttle transfers
3) Dock Shared Shuttle transfer service does not operate on the following holidays: December 25th, 26th, January 1st, Easter Sunday and from December 1st to March 31st
4) animal transport of any kind or size are not allowed on shared shuttle transfer
5) you have requested a SHUTTLE/SHARED service so you can divide the cost of it ONLY with the people within your party and NOT with other people using this service who are already in the shuttle!
PICK UP TIME SHARED TRANSFER:
Maximum waiting time for passengers before departure from and to Rome is 30 minute after your scheduled pick up time.
Our rates for Airport “Meet & Greet service” includes a 30 minutes waiting time after the flight has officially landed and parking fees. After this waiting time passengers must wait for the next available shuttle. In the event occurring delay or missing flight, we will still guarantee the service as a private transfer and you will be charged for the correspond amount.
To guarantee our quality on-time service, please be ready at least 15 minutes before scheduled pick-up time. Pick up time for return transfer from Rome to the Fiumicino Airport should be set 3h45’ prior the departure flight time. If we have arranged for a ride to the airport (or any other destination) and you keep our chauffeur waiting more than 10 minutes our driver will be free to leave the scheduled pick up area and will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged
LUGGAGE SHARED TRANSFER:
Our company and their chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse service to passengers that have excess luggage which could result in the vehicle being unsafe. (are accepted 1 big and 1 small piece of luggage each passengers) In this case will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged.
Extra bags should be declared at the time of reservation.
Add. your rate of 15€ per large bag and 10€ per carry on
